+2 Mod - Loan Program

Mailman decided to take it and do the mod on his FX and since he didn't know the rules, he kept it!!!! Lol

not much of a update bro.. I'm still waiting.. My unit is leaving on Wed so I have a few more days to get it. ( I hope)

Not to worry tho I will leave john's address information to my girl so when she get it she ship it right away to you guys.. If i don't get it done I'll see if I can work something out with thefx45beast to send it to me again once everyone get it done.
 
so from what I'm hearing this is being sent to me as a centralized location for east coast guys to get this done. personally I have no problem doing this at all, I can install it on my laptop & do it for any member who wants to swing by my shop within the time I have it. just tell me how much to collect from each guy who get's this mod & I'll foward the funds to fx45beast no problem & soon has said that he will take care of the actually getting it shiped back out part, cause if that depended on me then you guys'd be waiting forever, I suck at shipping things out :tongue:...

just want it to be known that I personally have no interest at all in using this for myself, if I did I'd already have it :tongue: my motors coming out in a matter of weeks so no use to me personally, only doing this to help because I was asked to, don't want the west coast guys jumping on me for delaying anything :cool: if I can get this before saturday maybe I can have a mini meet at my shop saturday afternoon to get all the +2's out of the way & then get this shipped back out... whatever you guys decide...
 
does +2 apply to the 45? or only the 35? i'd like to hop on this if possible. We only have 93 octane as our premium, no 91 octane. So it'd be sweet to try this out.

Supposedly the timing advance helps the 45 more than the 35.

do we need need a reclarification on the cypher loan program because this starting to get out of hand. not saying that this is not going smooth but it should be smoother,as you see the first person that got it did it then shipped but apparently the post office is having issues so i recommend priority mail at the flat rate box (small one). cost no more than 6 dollars as far as the group thing john if you are going to collect I say charge them something fare by no means am I looking to collect but its your shop so do what you feel is fare then we can split if you like.
 
well doesn't anyone have a tracking #? this should be shipped with insurance & a tracking # to each destination no?

I don't want to get in the middle of anything really, but I think I seen someone mention about a rolling deposit. guy one sends a deposit to you, you ship to him, then guy 2 sends a deposit to you, you now have 2 deposits, once guy 2 recieves it from guy 1 then guy one gets refunded, then guy 3 sends his deposit, & guy 2 ships, so on & so forth... you should always have at least one deposit & in the transit times 2. using paypal is cool cause when you refund there are no fees lost... if everything is shipped insured with tracking then there can be no screwups or loss here. again I really don't want to get in the middle or anything but I see 2 issues here, time & security

you're a good man for even considering all these headaches on your part, hope everything works out well for you, I'll do what I can to help it be as smooth as posible while it does pass through my hands, I'm not looking to make any money from this at all, just looking to help out
 
Actually you can create shipping labels through Paypal. Both parties get the tracking ID so there's no issues. For the small cost it is to ship a little faster, I'm sure its worth it because if you were to goto the dealer you'd be paying way more.

Considering The Beast 45 was nice enough to loan this out to all of us, I think we should all take part in getting things together and making this happen as smoothly as possible. I know we all have things to do, but its a small price to pay.

My idea is, ship it out the same day you get it, it only takes at most 1 hour to do it. Prepare your computer, laptop, etc and study the notes ahead of time. If you're still uncertain of what needs to be done or have any questions, don't feel shy to post them here, this is a team effort!

Okay cool I would think that it would be sent with insurance but I cannot assume. I just know to use priority mail because less hassle and it is almost guarantee to get there by the 3 days. with first class mail there is no guarantee as i see that it took so long to go from florida to newyork. But I just wanted to help evryone out with the +2 since i see it was such a pain in the A@# to get done and dealerships wanting to charge for something that takes 2 minutes. But I have good faith in the scene of I wouldnt have sent it out to float around the the country. as far as the fee and ship it was working but there is some confusion with the groups wanting to do it as it does make sense but like you said I just want it to be smooth, and I dont see you as getting in the middle because I know everyone respects you and your input is valued. I ask tko to see if there is a tracking on it.

+2 mod

I've been keeping track of this thread and one thing that I must say that we (NYers) are doing incorrectly is the fact that we are not keeping track of the names of the people who are anxious in doing this MOD. The thread started with like three names and after ward's it was random name dropping and no actual list. I believe that the list of +2 MOD should start again so we can PM each other on the date the software gets here. I will do the honors::biggrin:
