I was wondering if I could get some advice on some tires. I currently have a 2004 non sport, non tech FX35. I wish I had the 20" rims, but stuck with the 18" for now. I want to go with the Yokohama Parada's since they are very popular with the iS community but they don't make a 265/60r18 unfortunately.
I have some options at the moment:
I have a buddy who is trying to get rid of his Hankook ST RH06 but in a 285/60r18. Will these rub? I did some research, and apparently there is a 1/2" clearance with the shock, can anyone confirm this? I do know that GTO said that there will be a bigger bulge in the pants, & a taller tire". How will this affect the ride?
Another option would be this other person is trying to get rid of the stock (4)RE92A's for for $150CDN which is really cheap, but there is only 5/32" of tread left.
I did talk to a tire shop and they said they had a decent deal on the Falken Ziek S/TZ01. How are these tires?
I'm just trying to get through the winter and perhaps pick up a set of 20". What do you guys think?
