How do you remove the chrome piece from the leather boot of the shifter? Supposedly there's a clip over there and I believe you need to turn over the boot to remove that but how do I take out the boot portion? Any help? LeBron had it done before as shown here but I need more specific instructions..

You are correct, all you have to do is invert the leather boot and remove the clip that is holding the chrome piece onto the boot.

My question was how to invert the leather boot but found it out.. Pry apart the center console and it'll lift up.. Just clips right? Thanks Doc.
