Would the 2009 INFINITI FX35 LID HATCH TAIL GATE such as this

fit a 2006 FX35? Without major fabricating?

Definately won't fit. The hatch lid is slightly bigger on the 2nd gen's compared to the 1st gens. Plus you would need the outer tail lights and whole new rear quarter panels to fit the taillights in and a whole bunch of other things like wiring, trim, lighting, etc etc. Sounds like a mess waiting to happen.
 
Ha, alright. Well thanks Fire for the response, I saw that deal and then was curious if there's a possibility to make it work.
