09 fx35 question

Hey all

So I test drove a gen 2 Fx today. Everything looked good except this random cover on the driver rear passenger side. There's a little rust coming out of it. Does anyone know if this is factory or was drilled for some unknown reason. Should I be concerned with the rust?

I don't have that On mine Pman ! looks like a really good spot for water to get in,

Definitely. Im assuming it might be from those rust prevention treatments. I also noticed the accelerator pedal bolts that secure it to the floor were rusted. Possible water damage ? I'll pass on this one.

Here's a shot of the underbody. Its a northeast car but this looks a little extreme.

That's not a factory plug. Most likely it's from paintless dent removal in the rear quarter panel.

That chassis is ugly!
 
Looks like a hole that is drilled for spraying rust preventers and the plug is missing to me.
 
Thanks guys. Seemed like it wasn't normal since it was only one side. I passed on this one after seeing the undetbody

That's rusted underbody is ridiculous, good you passed on this one bro
 
Wow that thing had definately seen some water damage. My underbody is rust free.

Also I don't have that plug. Looks like someone screwed something up and covered it.
 
Hell I don't wash my car all winter and my Undercarriage doesn't look like that

Yea I showed the sales guy and they were like that looks normal to me! I told them to look under other used cars in their lot and they just laughed it off.

I feel for the person who will end up buying that. Hopefully it gets totaled early on or something.
