Sooo before winter hits here in wi I decided to check my battery's health and while it charges completely the cca is less then optimal at 332 should be 725... So I'm in the market for a battery I see they have different ones for cars with intelligent key(mine has this) what is
the reason for this? And any battery suggestions?

It may just be that the cars w/ intelligent key have more electronics so they have a slightly bigger battery. Honestly not a big deal, I have that and when my battery went, I just went and got the Bosch that matched up.

I had my battery replaced ~2yrs ago with: Sears DieHard Gold : Size 35, 640CCA. No complaints.

I would like to stay with the higher CCA as here in WI, we get dang cold, not sure if your lows in winter being in NYC, im sure tehy get down there, last year we had multiple days of -20. not wind chill, and while I do have a garage at home that keeps it about 20 degrees warmer, this is not the case at work, and would hate to have a vehicle that would refuse to start on these very cold days. thanks for the replies, it made no sense to me to have different batteries, my thought was that, with the intelligent key the sensors are actively looking for a key. also i believe the Intelligent key was with the Technology package, adding a lot more tech to the car. would explain the higher amperage
