07 FX35 Wheel Bearing Issue or something else?

Hey guys,

My 07 FX has recently started making noise from the driver side, rear wheel well on tire rotations around 30km/hr at first I thought my lug nuts were loose and my tire was vibrating but after tightening them the noise persisted. It sounds as if it’s metal on metal and happens at lower speeds and gets louder when I go faster. I'm too scared to take it out, fearing I'll screw it up beyond repair.

I took the tire off and peaked around, brakes and rotor all look to be secured and I didn't see any leaks and am baffled at this! Any ideas what it could be, someone suggest wheel bearings might be cracked.

Thanks
:err:

Rotate the tires to the other side or even bring it to the front, if it follows to the front its your tires. To check wheel bearings, hold tire 12oclock and 6clock and push in and out, if its not tight or wobbles, its wheels bearings. Also the raise both rear tires off the ground and start spinning the tires by hand and pause, spin and pause. Try to hear if there is noticeable clunks or clicks..

If you are hearing a roaring type sound, it suggests that your wheel bearings are bad and need replacing ASAP because eventually they will freeze up on you...I had to perform this maintenance on my FX35 although it is a 2004...Rotate the suspect tire very slowly and if the bearings are bad, you will hearing a roaring type sound...

Hey guys I need some help been searching for an answer but want to get a confirmation
I think i have a bad front bearing driving side and also vibrating/ shakie steering ...
Well around 2 days ago i started to feel bad steering shake on the highway when i was going 55mph and up
the whole car shakes like as if wheels were loose and also i hear roaring noise by the front..
the tire noise has always been there and when i took it in the mec told me that the bearings were fine
but i am afraid it maybe the bearing...

when the car is jacked up and wheels are turned its quite... i dont hear much sound until highway speeds.

The steering shake is not just the sttering but like the whole car wobbles and when i drive for like 5 min
on the highway speed and go back up to 60+ it does not shake..

i am gonna take it in to get it check but wont be off until next thursday.. a week from now... so i just wanted to see
what it's like to drive with bad bearings if it's the bearings?
or bad rack n pin that might need adjustment...? thank you guys
can the wheel come off from bad bearing ? if driven?

I'm experiencing a roaring sound in my right rear tire at low speeds. It drives fine on the highway. I just had the tires rotated today, but it's still it's still making that sound. Does anyone know what that could be?
