06-08 Clock Assembly Removal

Sorry to open up an AGE LONG thread, buuuuut how do you remove the ribbon cable?
So far at least two members have broken their ribbon, and I don't want to be a victim.
I've removed the white clip for the connection on the bottom,
but I can't remove the top connection(the ribbon cable):

theres a push button, on the side in the middle.. push in and pull

dont tug on the wire but with ur nails pry the top and bottom out

If anyone was wondering, I used a screwdriver to push the button, since the the tab is so small.
