03-05 vs 06-08 Intake

Hey guys

Is there any difference between the engine in the 03-05 vs 06-08 in regards with the intake system? Engines are the same right? But different MAF or any other changes that happened?

Hey John, On the V8 FX45's, there are 2 configurations. The intake manifold and airbox changed in 2006.
I'll let the V6 guys confirm theirs.

In addition to what pork has mentioned, the 03 & 04 has a circular/round MAP senor port. The 05 - 06 FX45 use the rectangular port.

The 03 - 08 FX35 has the same intake through the model years.

could you virtually drop the block from the 06 into an 03 and use the 03 intake manifold and piping? without any other changes... Thinking of dropping the 06 engine into my 03 as my block needs replaced.
