Seriously, fuck Infiniti for not selling the insert separately

Mine broke where the spring loaded plastic piece mounts to the shaft. This rendered it useless and made my starbucks slide back and forth sloshing coffee on me or my passenger seat in a turn.. I ended up fixing it by drilling a tiny hole near where the spring loaded plastic piece pivots. I then formed a retainer pin out of a paper clip and slid it through the hole. It works fine now but really pissed me off that Infiniti doesn't offer a replacement for the insert.

I temporarily fixed mine with super glue, I glued a metal washer where the rod slides through, It worked fine for a few months but its busted again
