His website sucks but his work is top notch. Prices are fair-to-cheap and I have no problem paying his prices because I know he'll satisfy even my OCD habits (I say habits because there's only certain things I'm extremely anal retentive about, and paying for aesthetics is something I want flawless).

His name is Rich, and his shop is in Burr Ridge (South-side-ish, off of I-55 near the 294 intersection).

Again, the site sucks, but his work is great. I'll see if I can get a friend to help him out on the site.

Cool, Im assuming they could do other projects like painting grills and other body parts too? I live in the area would definately give them a look if they took care of my other modding/painting needs.

As far as painting goes I'm not entirely sure. I don't know if their shop is set up for a traditional paint spray booth. I just know if you've got wheels you want powder coated, engine parts, etc, they'll do an awesome job and have a ton of different colors to choose from.

I am actually looking for a quality paint shop right now to paint a trunk. I'll let you know what I find.

There's this shop Ive gone to in the past that Ive been really satisfied that has done various work for me.

John's Auto Body in La Grange.

website sucks too, lol.

They color matched my headlight bezels for my old '02 Trans Am WS6 and also cut out exhaust openings on my old '00 Audi A6 4.2 as well and other painting projects. They do the job fairly quick and very inexpensive. Like $50 for the bezels if i remember. The quality is very good overall, im pretty OCD about aesthetics as well and never had an issue with them. I havent gone there in a few years, but since the mod bug is starting to bite me recently i may stop in there and say hi again. Thinking of getting the FX grill and front bumper section painted in a silver matte color.

lol just read some of the testimonials on the website and the second one down was for a FX35

My 2004 20" OEM chromies are in bad shape, so bad that the wheel balancing weights won't stick anymore! Thank you Chicago winters...

I'd like to get them redone in the spring just after the snow/salt season. Thinking of doing black powder coat. I've seen one sample here on the black oem wheel and it looks pretty sharp. Can someone point me in the right direction for some more pics?

Also, what's the typical price range on a powder coat or re-chroming job?
