New Issue: Hub and Bearing Assembly Replace

I need to replace my front driver's side hub and bearing assembly. Can someone point me in the right direction or is there a write up? I went on infinitihelp.com, but I could not find what I was looking for. Thanks

Ok, got my hub/bearing assembly replace, but now I have the slip/vdc lights on. Everything is hooked up just like the one that was removed. Im hoping a simple ECU reset will take care of this so I unplugged the battery and hopefully it will be light free in the morning. Anybody have any other comments on what this could be other than the actions that Im presently taking? Thanks

If the reset doesn't solve the problem check your wheel sensors. You might have shifted one during the work.

Ok, vdc/slip/abs lights are all still on even after leaving the battery unplugged all night to do a ecu reset. Any help, experience, anything is welcomed. Thanks

Take it in to an auto parts place and get the abs controler scanned for codes. Once you have the codes post them up. It's probably a wheel sensor.

I know most big parts places offer free code reading and I think they can read the codes from the abs controller.

I have had the same problem.
You have pushed the speed sensor out of place. If you look at the other side you should see the difference. There is three openings on it were it goes in.

why did you need to replace the hub and bearing assembly? what are the symptoms you had, i have a noise coming from my front end and someone mentioned it could be my wheel bearings or something

I had an accident and mess up both wheels on the driver's side. Had to replace the front hub/bearing assembly and the rear lower control arm and of course both driver's side wheels. It still pains me to think about it. The noise was my rotor moving against my brake pads.

Ok fellas I know its been some time since I brought this subject up. I did find out from a scan that it is the sensor, but when I looked at the placement of the sensor, it looks like it just goes in the hole and thats it, tighten the screw holding it and you are done. With that said Im just wondering what the other side is going to show me. I will set it like the other when I get the chance. Idiot mechanic broke the head off the bolt holding the sensor in place so Im going to do something called a tap and die set to back the broken screw out of the hole. Is there something I need to pay particular attention too when I view the opposite side sensor and when I reset the sensor giving the error? Thanks

i had to replace my sensor as well when i swapped out my hub/bearing assembly. I couldn't get the sensor out of its seat so it snapped. While waiting for the replacement the dash ligts for abs/vdc and traction were on. The fx acted wild and quick for the duration. When i reinstalled the part by simply inserting the sensor to the designated location, and plugging in, all the lights turned off, and it became mild-mannered again.

Wow, Im having the same issues, the other day after work I punched it to get out in traffic and the back wheels were spinning, now it had rained earlier that morning so I know that had a lot to do with it, but still that was a new experience.
