Hey guys, i just bought a hard wire kit from ebay for $7.99 and i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. Can anybody tell me how difficult is it to install the wiring kit? Any advice will be great~!!! Thanks.

is this that... "invis-a-wire" or whatever it's called? If so... I believe you just wire it via rear view mirror

As trainerken has said - if it is the invisicord, theres 2 pins and you put the pins into the back of the rear view mirror. Some of us use Mikes Mount to hang it on the mirror.
If its the invisicord it will take you 5-10 minutes tops.
If its the invisicord it will take you 5-10 minutes tops.
do you have the rear view mirror with the compass on it? if so then just need to connect two wires to the wiring harness behind the mirror. Just to be safe, you can get a VOM (volt ohm meter) to check for 12v + and a ground.
Not sure how your hard wire kit looks like, but mine had two pins I stuck into the connect behind the mirror.

hey guys once again thanks for your inputs. Is this invisicord?
connect the blue splice on +12 v and cnnect red butt spade into blue connector. Connect the black ground to anything that is grounded. As I said previously, a Volt meter will come in handy. (most likely the wire that is black w/ red stripe is the +12v, behind mirror).
* I noticed that the cord is 8 feet long! You can either cut it and plug behind mirror (recommended) or run the line down near the fuse holder. You will need to find the power that is controlled by the ignition on switch.
