Restoring Exterior Black Plastic Trim Parts

Hey, guys - started this thread over at INFINITI FX.org before this forum created "detailing" folder, so thought I'd cross-post for others to follow my experiment;

Re: my series documenting returning recently-purchased (April 2018) '15 QX70 to showroom quality.

Topic: Cleaning/Restoring luster of Exterior Black Trim Parts - testing out (new to me) product; Mother's Back to Black Trim & Plastic Restorer (liquid); other FX/QX owners/and product claim it lasts up to six months w/o need to reapply.
(Disclosure: I am not affiliated, related to, current or former employee of Mother's company; amateur auto detailer, I confess!)

Yeah, kahlilj - that's the pain about posting pics here; must be under a certain size to post; the highest I've been able to go is 750 pixels (horizontally) - I'd be happy to send you a PM with the originals if you'd like; but so far, I'm still sold on Mothers Back to Black Trim & Plastic Restorer. Wasn't impressed with Mothers VLR (Vinyl, Leather, Rubber) Cleaner. Prefer to use Lexol Deep Cleaner/Conditioner products instead.

I get most of my Mothers products via Amazon because I can use my Chase Visa points to purchase them, so basically get most of my car-care products free.

Products I want to test/try are: Mothers Mag & Alluminum Polish, Mothers California Gold Clay Bar System & numerous Chemical Guys products.

For guys who are following; here are pics b4 and After Mothers Back to Black Trim & Plastic Restorer - also 1-month later and 2-months later upon normal, daily use in dry, wet, hot, humid weather (nighttime stored in garage); normal washing with Dawn liquid or Black Magin Washing Liquid. No retouches! Trying to determine if what others claim - the produce lasts for six-months before having to re-apply.

So far, I'm sold..!
