Hi guys, this is the garage for my new FX. I've only had the car for a week. My plans are below:

- Tinted the windows yesterday. 80% windshield, 20% sides, and 5% rear hatch
- I have already purchased the full OEM aero kit. I will be painting all of the lower black trim on the FX as well as the black trim on the aero kit to Moonlight White Pearl.
- I will remove the "FX35" emblem
- I will have all red light housings and reflectors on the back spray tinted (not super dark - just enough to make the red less bright)
- I will have the horizontal lines in the grille painted black but leave the emblem and outer frame chrome
- I have been searching every day for 24" rims that I like and that don't look tacky. I want a classic looking chrome rim this time around, as I will not be removing the chrome on the FX. Don't really want a wheel lip either. I have some examples of what I like, and will share them soon.
- I would like to lower it, but only a bit, and only springs (not coilovers). My last coilovers brought so many issues that still hadn't been fixed by Kido when I traded my FX in.

More to come!

Thoughts on 24" Lexani Gravity chrome wheels?

Sent from my iPhone

You might want to hold off on tinting the rear lights, sounds like there might be clear lens style lights available for the FX soon based on the latest facelifted models.

I like the wheels, but in full chrome I think it might be too much bling.

I saw that. If I get too anxious, I might not be able to wait. I'm hoping the clear ones are available to purchase soon.

Those wheels are nice. I dont know about all chrome tho. Unless the inner part of the spokes is dark

My thoughts exactly. I wish I could find a rim that looks perfect all chrome at 24". My only fear is tackiness. I liked the Lexani Gravity wheels because the spokes are slim and so it doesn't look like there is as much chrome than some other 24's. I'm having trouble finding many choices for 24's.

I'm questioning chrome too. I found the FX50 rims in chrome on ebay, but I dont think I will be happy with the size. I do love the FX50 rims though. I like the look of 24" all-black glossy rims, but my fear is that they won't look nice with the stock chrome accents all over the car.

Ouch, you had many good parts on that car! Someone will be lucky buying your old car!

Holy Shit, Brennan's back!!! :)

Congrats on the new ride, did you replace or just add to the FX fleet?

Thanks! I replaced the other FX. It was time.

I know. Killing myself because of the headlights. But oh well. I will make this one my own and be just as happy. The interior is way better than the light interior I had on my previous FX. Loving the drive, too.

Ok guys. I found the wheels I want, and here are my options regarding size. I need some help with this, because I'm not sure if either size would require spacers, or if either size would poke out past the fender.

24x9.5" w/ +33 offset

24x9.5" w/ +25 offset

What do you guys think? Much thanks in advance!

My offset game is not strong, perhaps one of the stance junkies can pitch in... :)

Should fit fine
FX50S has 9.5 wheels +40mm
the offsets on these wheels would put the front an extra 7mm farther out
and the rear 15mm farther out

Im not super familiar with the 2nd gen but I don't think these will poke out

Just a correction, the FX50S wheels on the 2nd Gen are 9.5" with a 50mm offset . I know you can run 20 or 25 mm spacers on these wheels with no problems.

I actually looked up a 12 FX35 Sport and was thinking it was odd cuz I was sure mine are +50 , I don't know if the black ones are a different offset or my listing is wrong
