What did you buy for your FX / QX70 today?

I bought the JDM ASTAR ones on Amazon. they are decent, but to be honest I haven't had to reverse at night time yet so can't comment on how well they illuminate the back up camera.

Was it a pain removing the plastic to install the bulbs. I will be doing mi reverse and license plate lights soon when it's warm.

Nope, both are very simple. For the reverse lights, there are 6 rivets that you need to remove. The 2 on the ends of the liftgate cover are the kind that push down to lock around a plastic ring, so be careful removing these. The other 4 around the edge are the push in type (push the center dot to release, then easy to remove). I just used a flat head screwdriver and was careful about it. Once they are removed use the screwdriver again to pry the edges loose then pull it down. I didn't have to remove it completely off the car, just pulled it down enough to access the bulbs.

The license plate lights are also easy, just used a screwdriver there as well but be careful as the plastic piece is a little flimsy. It comes out easily enough though. I think someone on the forum did a DIY on it once which is what I used as a guide. Very simple.

Finally was able to take it to the carwash with the weather being 40 degrees.

Let me know how the powerstops work for you. Have heard mixed reviews.

I bought some LED reverse lights today, gonna slap those in. Been reading about people going with HID in the reverse lights, is this really a thing? seems like overkill!

Installed the powestops on all 4 wheels this weekend. Slight improvement over stock, initial bite seems better. Don't expect BBK results, but I'm happy for the price and the rotors look cool! I also performed the break in procedure which I heard is crucial

Bought a new baffled catch can because my current one is leaking and spraying oil everywhere (cheap eBay one). Also bought some random pipes and couplers to build a custom CAI. Have a huge air filter sitting on the shelf from an aborted project on my 335i so I might as well use it on the FX. Already have UTR Z-tube so going to keep that and replace JWT filter with MAF adapter and then extend the pipe to behind my foglights. And 2 new rear tires because camber killed my current ones. Made it 18K on -3 camber so not that bad.

Bought oil, filter, pump for diff. fluid is coming in tomorrow, got new NGK spark plugs, still have to get diff. fluid and tranny fluid for transfer case. And this morning I went over a speed bump and I noticed some loud squeaking. I don't know if my shocks have went or it's something else. really sounds like shocks but car ride is not bouncy or anything else. I don't know what it could be

Just for the fun of it, I got one of those cassette Bluetooth adapters. Paired it up with the phone, had someone call me (must lower the Bluetooth volume) It works. Played some sample music from the phone and it sounded pretty good and the conversation sounded good, too. (Adjust the volumes on your phone, I'm new to this)

Just ordered a Colgan full front bra for the FX and one for the Charger. Auto Anything has a sale for 20% off on orders over 100 so got both bras for 282.00 a 65.00 savings.

New rear brake calipers since one of my old ones decided to seize...

Got my fx35 all stock and still is , only thing I installed was a usb/ Bluetooth unit that connects to SAT output.

Bought a set of wheels and they came with TPMS valves on them. Says Nissan on them but I can't conclude from Internet search of they will work on my 2007 FX35 40700-1AA0B.

Some sites say they will work, some don't list is for my vehicle.

It should work, there are several sensors that are compatible. I think that's the part number I have.

picked up a pair of Malone Air Flow cross rail roof rack...getting to throw up the surf board. Now we just need some stable warm weather here.

Niche Circuit. I'm trying to find out if they are forged or cast. On Niche site cast ones only come in matte black. These show up as forged so based on how much I paid for them, I can't believe they would be forged

too many things...

most recently 18" Infiniti FX35 wheels with 265/65/18 Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tires
