Hey Guys,

Saw that Jaguar is sending these to dealerships in Spring 2016:

I think this is going to be a very heavy contender to the FX/QX and has some wicked cool styling cues. IMO, the FX/QX needs a refresh very soon in order to compete in this field, since this Jaguar is the exact same price as the FX/QX, but at the same time has better tech and looks great inside and out. Look at those electronics and panoramic sunroof for instance, plus the v6 engine options are very enticing.

I am definately looking forward to a test drive soon!

I like this thing a LOT!! The front actually looks a lot like the 1st Gen. And at that price range....very realistic.
Unlike the new GLE Coupe....that thing is super expensive!! But the AMG S63 version packs almost 600HP....and it sounds bad ass.

Looks real dope but I completely agree with PEEJ. I have a few friends who had Jags and they had nothing but problems.

Nice mashup of a couple of their models in SUV form. $42k starting price is nice, but I wonder how many options that leaves out.

Jaguar is now Indian owned and has been since 2008. I think they have been improving significantly in terms of reliability problems.

and thanks for sharing

I like it a lot also...fully loaded will be around the same as an FX fully loaded....around 70K for the 380HP engine. Most they offer....

I like the looks actually though I'm still skeptical with Jags bad rep for reliability isues, low resale value and for somehow still making cars heavier despite most modern cars these days are more inclined at building cars of light weight yet durable materials so it will be easy on gas and better performance.

Bags of potatoes are also capable of doing loopty-loops as long as the centripetal force is equal to or greater than the force of gravity. Plus bags of potatoes are cheaper to service and are in the shop less.
