Hi everyone,
Been a while since I posted.
I've seen other members post scratched doors by lowlifes. Tonight was my turn - painted doors and windows
The car was parked at the University of Toronto Campus area. I have parked there numerous times. Some idiot has decided to prove the fact that he is a loser on me.
Footage:
Picture attached.

I ran around trying to get any surveillance cameras footage but no luck. Campus police told me call city police. City police would make the report over the phone tomorrow morning.
My insurance covers this but 500$ deductible is out of my pocket... Painting two doors is going to be close to 500$ I assume.

The sad fact is that by looking at the time of the event I showed up just 4 minutes later!! Wish I saw it happening... I'd practice my boxing skills on him.

That's just beyond! What a fucked up thing to do. So sorry man.
Your insurance will def cover it, but if I were you I'd try rubbing compound to see if the paint can be rubbed off, or 2000 grit wet sand. It will cost less and most likely will leave no mark. The handle might be a different story.

People suck!

That totally sucks, but I'm not sure this is random...

For the glass, you can take a razor blade and scrape it off easily:

For the paint, time is against you, the longer you wait, it gets harder to remove. What you need is pre-paint wax and grease remover. This stuff is used on cars before painting them and won't dissolve existing paint. Anything that's been fairly recently painted will slowly dissolve. Body shops have this, so if you know someone at a body shop or if you just pop by one, just tell them to use wax and grease remover.

Do not use paint thinner, acetone, etc, those will soften your clear coat and smudge it.

You can also try using a clay bar

Sorry to see that man. As others states before paint off the window should come off with a blade or something as such. Paint on the body should come off pretty well after wet sanding and buff. The handle maybe can use paint thinner or reducer but it may affect the chrome on the handle. Take it to a body shop and it should definitely cost u less than $500 to get it done. Goodluck

Definitely someone you know. Looks very deliberate and therefore this mother f'er has an issue with you. Pay attention to the type of bike and his pants. You'll see this guy around....go up to him and show him the video on your phone and watch his face the entire time..His expression will determine his involvement. Then knock his ass out!

Please also provide a video of you knocking his ass out, in the supporters lounge section of course :smile (2):

Sorry to see this happen, you have one clean FX. Like others said I'd bring this to a professional detailer (you can find on via detailing forums in your area such as detailers domain, etc) first before starting on repainting. Best of luck!

#0000 Steel Wool will safely remove the paint from the window
2000 grit wet sand paper will remove from the paint. Remember to wash the area first, then after and apply ultimate compound...polish...then wax
I think the #0000 steel wool will also remove the paint off the handle, just make sure to finish it off with ultimate compound

I don't condone violence at all since I see trauma victims who have been shot/stabbed/beaten up end up to the trauma center all the time. Really surprised another Physician would say that.
I had a similar incident happen to my vehicle when I was in Med school and knew the person who did it from witness testimonies. I reported the person to the authorities and made an insurance claim. Not worth risking your career, especially if you are in the health care field and trust me you don't wan't an assault charge follow you the rest of your life!

I never really understood why someone would do these to a random person's car. Mere Jealousy? I hope that I never catch anybody doing this to my car. I'd probably end up in prison.

I think its time I keep two dobermans guarding my car...try touching it then..bite your a$$ off...lol
