Gratz on the new member of your family! :) Enjoy the ride!:congrats:

There's really no comparison between the Mustang and say the Camero. Ford has done such a fantastic job building this vehicle. For the money nothing comes close.

You aren't kidding. My car is a base GT with the track package and Recaro seats. A Camaro 1SS with the 1LE package would have been another $5000 at least. And I felt more comfortable behind the wheel of the Ford.

Don't mind the holes in the hood. I popped out the hood vents to take to the body shop for black semi-gloss paint. :)

Here are the details:

MSRP $36,150
Negotiated Price with Dealer $33,000
Ford Rebate ($3,000)
Private Cash Incentive ($750)
Work/Union Rebate ($500)

Final cost was $28,750. Mods will run me around $3,000 total. You can't beat that!

A few better pics from today. I still need to clay/polish/wax to get the flake in the paint to "pop" in the sun.

Those wheels are sick, are you planning to drop it?

The wheels are an amazing deal, too. 19x9.5, 26 pounds, and only $169 each. Insane. I'll sell the OEM wheels and the mod won't cost me a thing!

Unsure on the drop. I know it sits up high, but with the live axle rear, it requires lower control arms, coilovers, and a new panhard bar to do it right. So...we'll see.

Yes, not a big fan of Mustangs, but this one is definitely a nice one. Love the wheels, and, Recaro... enough said....:drool::drool:

Nice car! I actually think it looks cool at the current height. Personally, I don't think muscle cars need to be dropped.

I dropped off the hood vents at the body shop today. They are going to do a satin black to match the wheels and badges. They are busy with the way this winter has been, so I'm not sure when I'll have them back.

Tint and XPEL clear bra appointment in the morning. Snow coming, but he'll leave overnight in one of his bays until the storm is over. :)

Looks great. I hear ya about the rear end. My buddy has a Rousch BlackJack. It can be a handful in the turns & the back is pretty light. The supercharger & the sound it makes is really cool.

At 7 minutes I give him room to go by, but he goes in to hot at Willow. I'm sure it woke him up

Willow is an awesome track to drive on. I wish I had a chance to drive something fast on it (I drove a piss out of rental Altima, but it was way too slow, don't think I hardly needed to use brakes). Lots of fun...

I was never a fan of mustangs but i have to say that this sir is looking hot. Ever think about lowering it a little bit?

These cars are very tempting. Fast, sound awesome, pretty cheap even with options added, and can be made to look awesome.

I priced one out as well similar to you, although I left off the track package as it sounded like a legitimate track package for the track. Do you feel it's worth getting?
