Hah! My wife (then girlfriend) moved out from Cambridge 14 years ago. I remember looking under the hood, seeing all the rust and thinking to myself "how the hell am I going to work on that?"

I think the resonator on my Fx35 is gone,,, I went check it will cost me $400 for the part itself.
if you don't mind, could you please tell me where you get the system from?
is it all the way after header to the end?
I love the original exhaust sound from the OEM, how is the new system compare to it? I really dislike the Civic noise :)

please give me some idea,, thanks

This is a Cat back system. not a full exhaust kit.

Most people on the boards have gone through Gordon (a member on here who works for invidia), I have personally gone through him and my feedback was excellent.

As far as the sound goes, you will not be mistaken for a civic, that just won't happen with the VQ. It is considerably louder than stock; however, the noise it makes is phenomenal. normal city driving or under load at highway speeds you might get a little drone, but nothing to write home about. At WOT it sounds like an exotic, a V12 ferrari or V8 Maserati.

Definitely go thru Gordon that is who helped me ,,good guy and it does sound better then the oem , it's not crazy loud , sadly to say I lost the truck to my wife after the baby was born so its her daily and she isn't one for mods and she likes the sound

Yeah, it will never be mistaken for an exotic. I live in an area where a lot of Ferrari's, Maserati's, Lambo's, and Aston's cruise around. They all have a very distinct tone and nothing like the Invidia. Anything with a VQ35 has a unique tone as well, but it's nothing remotely like a supercar. I prefer the Invidia over OEM though.

^ I wouldn't go there...but it does sound good!

My exhaust has never giving me any Problems but I wonder if I will have to replace it soon. At least the FX will be paid off by the summer and anything I do to it won't be an issue.

^go for it Oscar. During a bad NY winter a few years back, my muffler rusted out from the inside out punching two little holes. I was quoted OEM replacement for $1400. Decided to go for Invidia dual exhaust system. It still remains one of my favorite mods.

I apologize for resurrecting a old thread but I'm about to take off my stock exhaust and install the Invidia Gemini. I also went though Gordon (Great experience so far) and I live in NY...my under body is covered in Rust. The previous owner lived in Virginia. How much of a PITA was removing the old exhaust and how long did it take you? removal and installing all together ??

I would get it installed by a muffler shop. I have attempted to take a part the stock exhaust on an 07 in my area and I gave up after half an hour into it trying to take apart the stock exhaust. None of the nuts would budge at all.

Ahhh okay...thats what it's going to look like...I'm gonna try a little but I won't waste more then a couple hours on it. If it's that bad I'll just send it to a shop. I need to find a muffler shop by me now...fun fun.

Trust me on this one man. I would not even try it again. Now if by chance that you want to take the Invidia off a couple of years, I would do it myself. I have been through a few exhaust setup up swap out here and I have yet have any problems taken them down a could of years.

Lol well I am no expert on this stuff so I will take your advice then. How much was the installation approximately so I can gage the prices I get from my local guys..
I have a feeling I may be swapping out parts later on but I just need a easy install now because my stock exhaust has a few holes in it from so much rust damage. It sounds horrible. Almost Ricer Status... :eek.:
