Hi everyone. I will be in Chicago this weekend and have some free time on Saturday. I want to practice on taking some car "rolling" pictures. Never done it before, but have a few ideas. I need 3-4 people and 2-3 cars minimum(including myself). Just wondering if anyone has some free time. Also curious if anyone knows where are nice/smooth highways without busy background or traffic in Suburbs.

I want to participate, but as you know, I have a wedding to attends. Looking forward for some good photos from the shoot.

Guess I picked the wrong day to be in Chi Town:rotfl:. I see it's not happening, oh well. We will figure something out next time.:wink:
 
A rolling shot theme for ROTM would be nice, but it's highly involved. Need 2 vehicles (subject + chaser ride and dedicated photographer).

What about making this one of the activities Sept 14? Considering we would have at least 4 DSLRs in play....very doable plus multiple FXs

It will take quite some time. My guess 2-3 hours to shoot? Does anyone have a wide angle Nikon lens by any chance?
 
Hopefully, if the body shop gets the color match right this time by time of the meet i will not need so much photoshopping. FX goes into surgery on Monday. My travel date is still up in the air, so there is a slight chance i'll make the meet. If you plan to shoot this weekend just let me know it will be me and Cora.
