To space or not to space, that is the question

[SUB]So ever since I put the new wheels on I have been tryin to decide if I should add my 20mm spacers. What do you think? Only issue is that when I had them on my OEMS wheels, it shook like crazy. And these are a great brand of spacers! Do I put on and live with the shake?

The simple answer is yes. But what type of spacers do you have? I feel the quality and brand of spacers matter. I run H&R 25mm spacers on my OEM 20"s and have no issues. Most run H&R or Ichiba.

Wheels are tucked in so much that I can't even see them in that shot lol. Spacers would set it off. Make sure you have the proper hub rings and tighten in a star pattern.

I definitely know how to out lug nuts in and tighten properly. The brand name of the apacers are Motorport Tech and I know several people run them on this site. Maybe it is user error. It is the first time I've ever ran spacers. The hub size is the 66.1 for sure. I am going to give it another shot and see how she rides! Stay tuned

I never experienced shake with my spacers. Maybe your OEM wheels weren't balanced well? I'd put them on and see if the shake is still there...

I've run a variety of H&R's with no issues whatsoever. With regards to the look, if you love the wheels (thinking of changing them out wait until you have what you want) you have to get flush or close to it IMO. The FX has a meaty body and tuck just brings it that much closer to SUV status.

Should not shake or vibrate with good spacers and proper install.

The spacers must be made or have an insert to fit our Infiniti 66.1 hub center, THEN, it should have the proper hub center ring to fit your aftermarket wheels. For example my Ichiba V2 spacers come with an insert to fit my FXs hub bore, then I run a 66.1 to 75mm hub center ring to fit my aftermarket Enkeis. Mine run vibration free.

Spacers are in. They are Motorsport Techs with 66.1 hub centric. The wheels are 66.1 as well

Vibration starts at 45 mph. It is in the steering wheel and not the butt which tells me it is in the front. Without the spacers there is very little vibration. Still investigating.
Looks bitchin though!

Can the spacers mess up the alignment? I would say try taking off the fronts and just test with rears, maybe you can narrow down the issue. Maybe just one of them is bad.

Yep. Above 45 in the steering wheel. Since I bought the wheels used I am checking the hub size. I was told 66.1 but when I looked at the specs today, it does not look like they come in that size

However the same wheels did not shake nearly as bad without the spacers
May have to just suck it up and buy H&Rs for the front to start
