New Wheels! - Giovanna Dalar 5 Limited

After resolving a few issues with the TPMS sensors, I finally got the new wheels installed! Giovanna Dalar 5 Limited all black. I'm thinking the "Limited" part is just a marketing ploy, hahaha! 22" x 9", +37 up front and 22" x 10.5", +40 in the rear. I think the offset is perfect! I decided to go with a 265/40/22 and 285/40/22 tire setup and I think it fills out the wheel wells pretty nicely. I wanted to do what I could to avoid lowering it so I think this is the best that I'm going to get. Sorry for the horrible pictures, iPhones and bad lighting don't mix. I'll take some better pics with a proper camera this weekend. Pictures really don't do the back wheels justice. Their deep concavity is just stunning! Thanks to everyone who helped me out with a few questions! Now on to the next mod...

Very very nice man, those look good on the fx

Thanks guys! I'm still a little undecided about the next mod. It's either going to be exhaust, front lip, or black out the grill and chrome trim. I plan on doing all 3 but funding will dictate what I can afford next. I've definitely caught the mod bug because the list of "wants" keeps getting longer and longer. Looking at what everyone else here has done is not helping either!

I think he should tint those rear tails to match the rims and then get the front lip kit. :top:
Since i read somewhere that Infiniti is going ahead with a limited run of the Sebastian Vettel FX, I was holding off to see if I could find a set of those tails. Those are just beautiful on a white FX. Sadly, they're either going to be virtually unavailable for purchase or extremely expensive. The front lip kit is definitely near the top of my list though.

great looking FX man!,.. wheels appear to be bigger than 22 IMO. kinda tough to see the finer details of the wheel, got a better camera?

Thanks Soonster! I know, it was cloudy this morning and the iPhone camera isn't the best. I'm taking better pictures with a real camera this weekend after I wash it.

where did you get that grill from?
mines looks different
Yup, that's the new grill design for 2012. Sorry for the late reply, tropical Storm Debby rolled through this week so I've been busy making sure my house didn't blow away or sink. I'll get some better pics up this weekend.

Looks great! I am from Sarasota also and just picked up a 08 FX last month. I am surprised I haven't seen yours rolling around town.

Thanks Srqsti and congratulations on your new FX! I've been really busy with work lately so I haven't gotten to drive it that much. Hopefully I'll get out a little more soon and we'll cross paths.
I know it's a longshot, but did you pick up your 08 from Coast Infiniti? If so, is it Diamond Graphite with Wheat interior?

I have the dalars also but mine are machined finish around the edge, I guess that is the difference between the limited and the originals I have. You're right, the depth of the concave in the rim with the rivets being set back to give the effect of a deep lip is one of the best aspects of the rim, I love the looks! Great job on the ride!

Thanks inky. Your pictures actually sealed the deal on these wheels for me. I was trying to decide between these and a few other wheels but they looked so smooth on your FX that I had to get them!

I definitely like the wheel but the rivets are a bit hard to see since everything is all black. Maybe like a gunmetal with black rivets? Nice choice though!

^ Agreed! Looks very nice! Where/Who did you order yours from?

Thanks Tilley. I got them from Discounted Wheel Warehouse. They had the lowest price I could find, but I'm not sure if I'd order from them again. Their communication became almost nonexistent once they charged my card, were pretty slow to ship, and the rear wheels looked like they had been used. They had residue from having tires installed and they had a couple small scratches that had touch up paint on them. I kept the wheels because you can't see the touch up paint unless you're really looking for it and it would have been a huge hassle to ship them back.
