Independent Fog Light mod for 2nd Gen FX?

I've seen a lot of success with KP Technologies' mod for an independent fog light switch for 1st Gen FX's (http://www.kptechnologies.com/products.php#/12), however has anyone actually had luck with a 2nd Gen FX?

I have emailed KP, and they said to ask around. I've tinkered around with my FX quite a lot, but this seems to be an area I may have someone more electronically knowledgeable hack into. I would love to get this tackled.

You will need to do some testing/trial and error/research to find the right wires to tap into. The KP module is not specific to the FX, just Nissan's in general.

Fantastic. I'd love to get this functional.

I just finished up my HID foglight conversion today and went with 3000k bulbs. I would LOVE to figure out how to use them independent of any other lighting.
 
Still wish there was a way to do this. Lots of Maxima people I know did the fog relay mod and it ended up frying their IPDM down the road.
 
Wish i knew more. I learn as i go. Tried it out today and it seems i have more to learn. The FX is sensitive to voltage drops so connecting the relay changed the voltage on the wire i was working on which in turn turned the rear wiper on. Ill try again another time.
 
The guy that wired my rear LED side markers is also going to install a relay so that my fog lights can be on independently from the headlights I'm going to have that done soon. He all he also told me that it should be easy to do.
