New FX Owner

Hi all,

Just purchased a used 2007 Infiniti FX35 and loving it so far. Coming from a Honda Civic as a daily commuter for the past couple years, is there anything I should know or any advice that can be offered? Main use will be work, and transporting a kayak/fishing gear. Did some poking around on here and it seems like a great community to be a part of.

Thanks all. Really liking it so far. I guess my main question is: any advice or tips for a new owner? Never owned an Infiniti let alone a crossover before.
 
Welcome to IS! What type of advice are you looking for? Advice on driving, maintaining or modding? Pretty much keep up on normal scheduled maintenance and the FX will give you years of problem-free and enjoyable miles.
 
Thanks for the welcomes all. Just looking for some everyday driving and maintenance tips. Anything that may be valuable to a first time owner. Not looking to go crazy with mods besides window tint and dice mediabridge.
 
Excellent choices - window tint and Dice MediaBridge. I really like my DM. As for maintenance, just change oil regularly, check tire pressure, rotate tires... follow the factory maintenance schedule like most other cars and your FX will last a long long time :smile (2):
