Do it. TC6 helped me with my mood lights install back some time ago. Cheap diy project, ebay LED cost ~$25 for 4 strips.
Front driver's = LED strip glued to wood stick and mounted above pedals
Front pass's = LED strip taped to the black plastic cover below the hvac blower
Rears = tight "S" weaved inserted into spring coils of the front seats (unbolted and tilted backwards, easy access)

best place to look would be the the recyclers, I got lucky Zebra posted one in Michigan on Ebay I gave them an offer and they took it
Actually the place I bought it from (cant recall the name right now) specialized in speedos and they burned my milage into this cluster
