Modulare c11 in satin black or silver?

I'm looking at the Modulare C11. I'm fixing to order these wheels but can't decide on what color I like. My car is obsidian black. Sometimes I like the black with chrome lip and other times I think I may get sick of it and so maybe I should go with the tried and true silver (plus it's $500 bucks less!). You can check out both ways in my garage. My freind photoshopped for me (thanks to whoever owns that pic btw) What are your thoughts and opinons.

thanks
Brian

I say get the silver ones and then later paint them when board, instead of the other way around. plus the silver is cleaner looking. but black and chrome is the look right now!

That's exactly what I am thinking. I want a style that will be around for a long time. Black looks "gangster" (so my bro says) but the silver is like clean and sporty and is says more "baller" (again so my bro says lol).

I've had different combos.

Black - looks cool at most first sights, show brake dust pretty quickly, gloss becomes like the paint and gets micro scratches easily, makes the wheels look smaller

Silvers - less "gangsta" looking at first, classic color, get dusty but will look less silver vs brown black, less likely to show micro scratches, wheels will look bigger side by side to a black face

OK..thanks all for the input. I will be going with...Silver! With the chrome lip. It has been forever since I had a car I could actually buy wheels for. Can anyone tell me what off set I need to get? Or will the wheel experts people tell me. I am going with 22X10 all the way around. I don't want them to stick out at all I like them flush. Thanks all in advance.

I'm currently getting custom wheels made in 22x10 and I asked for +35 offset. I like mine flush with the top fender too.

Trdguy - let us know which offset you go with, and of course pics when you get 'em mounted. I'm thinking of getting wheels to for my '10 FX as well.

So I been quoted a price and getting ready to order today..They said if I use my Amex then it's another $100 but if I pay cash or wire transfer or check then I save the $100. I wanted to use the Amex for a buffer in case something happens. Is this the normal process? I just send them money and hope I get my wheels? Do I pay half then send the rest when I get my wheels? Am I worrying too much? Modulare is a reputable company right? What would yall do?I am dealing directly with modulare wheels.

Wow, are you serious? I would still use Amex in case you have to dispute anything. For me, I put 50% down deposit and the remaining balance gets paid after the wheels are made.
