I know, sounded like he was in the middle of some tropical rainforest.

I have 3M clearbra on my mirrors that is beginning to come off. I might be inclined to peel this off and just do 4-5 coats of this stuff.
 
I was in Puerto Rico about a year ago. Loved it, so beautiful. Saw Goo goo dolls there. Also, the BEST ATVing I've done was in Puerto Rico.
 
Great looking project, I think the full black'ed out grille gives it a cleaner front look where the headlight shrouds stands out more.
 
Might look better if you paint the headlight shrouds black to match the grille and tinted tails...
 
Decided to give Plasti-dip a try on the upper and lower chrome pieces of the grill. I like the look but the flat black doesnt go with anything else on my car. I think I'm going to peel it off and have the entire grill painted satin black.

I agree with that. I just wanted to make sure I liked the look of the all black grill first before I made it a permanent addition.
I think it would look good with those chrome strips refinished the same as the rest of the grill in the OEM finish.
