So what is your next vehicle going to be?

I was looking into adding an additional vehicle to my "stable". I had ideas of a Jeep Wrangler so that I can take the MTBs without caring about getting the vehicle dirty nor caring about damage that occurs (which does happen sometimes). Maybe going offroad, things that you think about to purchase a vehicle, but sometimes never do lol.

Then I learned I might be moving to a more urban environment, well gas mileage became a concern. So I started looking at the Mini Cooper S, G35 sedans, 350Zs, BMWs (I love em). Then I went and test drove a 02 CL500 in mint condition, well all hell broke loose and I veered off course for a little bit (visions of getting a 'vert again came in and I looked at SC430s and Z4s). In the end I didn't buy anything, opting instead to keep piling the miles on my FX and deciding that it's best not to stray away from my schoolastic/career goals and continue until I can afford a 135i/335i (in a year, maybe 2) or something a lot faster like E60 M5, E55 AMG, C63 AMG, Viper, ZO6, GT500, Lotus Espirit V8, 996 911TT, SL55 AMG. I miss speed...but plans are always subject to change...

Anyway got me thinking about what others on here are going to move to or add next and why.

my next car is going to be a daily driver:

1st Choice - 2007-2008 Maxima
2nd Choice - 2007/08+ Altima Sedan/Coupe
3rd Choice - 2004+ Toyota Solara

Then plan on Getting an 09+ FX after that and keep the daily just for work.

On the hunt for a 6 speed Z4 M coupe as I type, wife is taking over the FX. The M Coupe (Z3 and 4) is one of my dream cars for whatever reason - great performance, odd yet striking looks that does not appeal to everyone, limited production, just a great drivers car with zero practicality. Wanted one for a long time, lots of work but finally close to making it happen

I needed a car here in Vancouver, I had only about $11k-$12k to work worth, I don't have credit here so I had to pay cash. I ended up picking up an 06' Ford Fusion SEL V6 with only about 30k miles. I'm pretty content. It was either this or something like a Toyota Yaris. While the Yaris would've been excellent on the gas (gas up here is about $1.14/liter, which comes out to be about $4.50/gallon!). But I wanted something roomier with a bigger trunk and some power for going up the mountains when I go snowboarding.

Probably won't be for a while, but depending on how the future unfolds I see myself either getting a cheap beater that's easy on gas, or getting something faster. I could see myself getting a Jeep SRT-8 or some other fast SUV, or maybe a sport sedan like an E63 or C63.

next car will be something to learn manual on. I love driving, and the logitech g25 + ps3 aint cutting it anymore. Plus burning my buddy's sc'd & chipped mini cooper clutch is taking its toll haha.

i was thinking of picking up a 198_ VW with a heavyyyyyy clutch. that should be fun. Bumper cars anyone?

Well I just got my FX this past March, so my next car won't be for a while. Atleast until another 3-5 years. But when it does come Im looking into something like an M56s. And when I do get It, I'll still keep my 09 FX. I plan on keeping it till all 4 wheels fall off. Telling by how super reliable Infiniti's are, that won't ever happen!! Lol

won't be for a few years yet still, but I think my next car will be a second gen fx35 that I'll twin turbo as soon as I get it :) I'm actually developing the whole "kit" right now on my first gen with an HR swap, so everything I design & build now will be a direct bolt on for the new one :)

Aren't those those little Beemers? They suck compared to a Nissan Z. Had to flame ya Sydney.

Seriously, if you have the means, a 370Z roadster with synchro rev matching is the bomb. If your means are limited, an 04-05 350Z roadster can be had in the $15K range. Much more fun to drive, more power, more drift. Plus Nissan reliability without the Euro maintenance/repair costs.

My $0.02

My FX45 replacement will be an 07 Wrangler 4 door and a 07 350Z roadster, when I can afford 2 cars again. Probably in 2-3 yrs.

You're absolutely correct about those little cars!!!

My old Z3 M coupe lol
And this little M stock for stock destroyed any 350Z/G35 it came across...so you're making the right decision. Plus it drives a whole lot better!

OK, so I'll bite on this one :tongue (2): ... nothing but love for the Z, for sure, though I'd go old school with a Datsun Z before I considered a new one. That said, I'll let this picture do my talking

No plans on a new vehicle anytime soon. I plan on running the FX into the ground, whenever that occurs.

I do have my 03 Z taking up space in my garage though. Anyone interested?

23,xxx miles, greddy twin turbo....

OK. If I had more money than sense, I would buy a Porsche Boxster S, or a Cayman S if I hated sunshine, which I don't. But since I have sense and no money, 370Z.
