Aerodynamic Kit

I have seen a few threads about the 09+ aerodynamic kit and I was wondering if it is possible to get the front lip in all black plastic like the rest of the bottom lip. That way it would look like the rest of the car but i think the front would look more aggressive with the new lip. I only thought about this because my FX is silver and i don't know how it would look just to have the front silver and the rest stock black. This might be a bad idea but just wanting to get some input.
 
I believe they only come painted from the factory. You would have to go through a bodyshop to strip off the paint and maybe spray it with a matte dark gray.

But I suggest getting it in silver, and then painting your side and rear moldings silver.
 
Just curious why are u getting rid of the lip? IMO it looks so sick with the gtr rims. Plan for new bodykit??? Maybe the proline 1? ;)

hey found this on utube. he has the front lip matte. his headlights appear to be painted and clear though!!!! love the headlights

Oh cool I didn't know Igor did your headlights for you. I speak to him sometimes. He did my headlight bulb change for me in person cause my AFS kept having problems with the new bulbs.

He texted me this picture of your headlights being done months ago when he was working on your headlights cause I was thinking about having some work done too:

Possibly, I had them done over the summer. I'd like to go check out his place but its a good 3 hour drive for me. Maybe when there's a meet in NY come spring I'll stop in. I'd like to eventually get the r8 led's installed.

Yeah their yours haha. He told me yours was the first 2nd gen headlights he worked on. Igor does really good custom work, not just headlights.

I just sent mine in. He's trying to get an extra set of headlights for certain vehicles that come in a lot so when you want something done you don't have to wait too long. You can just tell him exactly what you want and once its done you can ship yours over and do a swap. Thats what he wanted to do with me but the 2nd gen headlights are like $1k a piece.
