Hey, you are back! I see you have even more toys -- can't wait to see your house and drop off my car in the summer. Strobes look awesome, that's insane how bright they are.

At least it seems like you have internet now??? =)

Im back.. got really busy lately
Humberto, cant wait to see my CF markers on your headlights :smug: Are you sure you dont want to LED Angel Eyes ?:wink (2):

Finally I tested new wireless remote unit. It comes with two 4 buttons long remotes. Functions : 8 levels of brightness, fade, off, and what i like the most is alternate 6 levels of strobe :)

Thought I'd drop a quick pic of my new headlights installed - More to follow (vids on heads and tails) but Marek's work is outstanding. He really goes the distance to make sure the work is done well. The tech and the workmanship is there but you have to love that he keeps pushing to try new designs/formats....

Adding to this tread to try to keep everything in one place. Marek just finished my car after a long week:

Items he has done for me so far:

1) Euro taillights - Legalized an American SAE (or “DOT”) standard taillights to European ECE (or "E-code") standard for someone who is moving his/her car from the US to Europe. I just like the "Audi" style taillights and had to have them. Red ring outer and amber inner turn signals. One of a kind, custom made. Requires swamping taillights and also rewiring.

2) Rear LED bumper lights - also up to code for American SAE (or "DOT"), which are reflective, turn on red, and flash amber for turn signals. One of a kind, custom made. Requires removal of bumper and wiring.

3) Buffed headlights to a crystal clear finish.

4) Installed interior color changing LEDs.

5) Chrome coated signal bulbs installed.

6) Remote to control LED angel eyes were not installed, decided to leave as is, to turn on and off with parking/side lights.

7) Converted halogen fog lights into true xenon projectors (well, still pending).

8) Wired and installed computer-aided designed (“CAD”) light-emitting diode (“LED”) angel eyes into headlight housings.

9) Painted inner headlights housing (leaving chrome shrouds), sharpened cut-off line by modifying the reflector, using a spacer and installing an optically clear projector lens.

10) Installed LED mirrors, 2nd generation.

I am sooo good with photos.....=) to date I've never posted a vid.....

So I gotta call you out Ed, you kinda didn't finish the job on the lighting. An LED disco ball would have been sweet. Was it a cost or power issue?

It would interfere with the Rear entertainment center, only reason why it's not on there.

Drove in my other car, behind the FX45 today -- very happy with how it looks and functions in the "real" world.

Even had another FX that drove by, and the Euro lights made it stand out.

its funny that chedman never had an avatar before and I always thought he had a 2nd gen:wink (2):
