Hey guys,

My friend who owns a modifiy shop which also is an Megan Racing authorized dealer just talked to Megan and they are willing to do a group buy on the coilovers kit for us. They have 5 sets in stock now and can hold all 5 sets for us about 2 weeks.

32 Levels of Adjustment:

1-8: Suggested for track use.
9-16: Suggested for mountain/aggressive use.
17-32: Suggested for common street use.



Here are the pricing:

less then 3 sets - $900 shipped within United States

more than 3 sets and up to 5 sets - $875 shipped within United States

Again, the group buy will close within 2 weeks and only 5 sets are available. Paypal will be the only payment and I will send the paypal address to you guys after I closed the group buy.

this is the only 5 sets they have on hand and probably won't make any new ones at least for couple of months.

wow, hate to say it, but that almost sounds like a real good reason to NOT want megans :frown: what do you do a year or 2 down the line if you needed to replace one? it's not uncommon for a strut to get damaged in a collision & just one getting damaged would mean the whole set is useless if a replacement was no longer available... kinda like having a set of discontinued wheels, better hope that you never need to replace one cause then the whole set would just become useless...
 
Made an appointment with Johnson to get these installed tomorrow afternoon..

I spoke with Nelson at Megan Racing and he was very informative with providing me help with the Install.

Getting a great deal .. as I always say.. CASH not credit is KING.. LOL

Will post pics as soon as I can.

The coilovers come with 1 year warranty and Johnson can always get a replacement if you ever needed down the road since he is the authorized dealer with Megan. Megan Racing is testing water on these 5 sets of coilovers, if they did sold they will make more in the near furture.

Johnson already told me about the installation appointment and he has nice shop and do good work!:laugh:

Nelson just gave me an update about the warranty on the coilovers:

The coilovers come with 1 year manufacture defective warranty and after one year customer can purchase replacement shocks or whatever pieces gone bad.

You mean for replacement part or warranty right? Megan will honor the warranty during that 1 year period, after that we will order the replacemnt parts for you. They will have parts in stock from time to time. If not, you might have to wait for them to ship out from Tawian.

actually the coilover is out for a while but no one really knows. that's why Megan offer this group buy to see if there is a demand for it. :smile:

since Bert already ordered one, only 4 left. after this stock of 5 sets the wait for the next shipment will be a very while.
 
I already tested drove the Megan CO and they ride very well. Lawrence from Strafe was originally organizing this ,but havent heard from him lately.
