Also got my new Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires installed. Holy shit what an amazing difference. It made the ride smoother and really really quiet. The cabin is literally dead silent now. It's so quiet that I actually been driving with the radio off because all I hear now is the nice exhaust. I was amazed at the quality of these $177 tires compared the the $270 Bridgestone Dueler H/P 92A tires the FX originally comes with. What was Infiniti thinking when they put those Bridgestone tires on there?? Should have the Yoko's from the start!

I may borrow my cousin's DB reader to measure road noise because I can't hear any :eek.:. Usually I would hear the transition from driving over asphalt to cement, but now I don't. Everyone knows cement roads are louder than asphalt roads and now I can't tell :smug:

Made the ride dead silent to what was already a silent cabin. LOVE LOVE LOVE them lol:

When it's more silent typically means cushier rubber and the thread life goes faster and will lose some performance handling. It's a trade off. I think with FX, Infiniti was thinking performance over complete silence. Although ive had tires that are much louder like on the mustang that i had so the stocks are a good balance. Too bad nobody developed tires that are rated 10 in snow and 10 in noise and 10 in summer heat performance! :(

I'd trade of a "little bit" of handling for a quieter ride. Not all of it though to the point it feels floaty like a Lexus. Although I have to admit the ride is wayyyyy quieter on my FX now than my Uncles's new Lexus GX460. I get motion sickness in when riding in that thing because the back end wobbles and jitters all over the place. It rides almost like a truck does.

yea i second that for planting money tree cause i donno what to get the grill the hollywood had or lip :tongue (2):
