Why The 25 Post Min To Sell?

I'm a long time member of the .org forum and was sent here by a member to try and sell my snow tires and rims only to find out that I need 25 posts in order to post for sale items. Can a mod make exceptions to the rule or can I just make a bunch of "fast" posts to reach that #?
 
guidlines are set up to deter spammers. Cant really get around it as it's a board universal thing. On the other hand, no one is interested in reading fast posts.
Why dont you hang here for a little, contribute to the board, & then sell your goods. You may even get a higher price w/ a little reputation . . . & make a friend or two :wub:

Thanks, by the time I get to 25 posts there will be not as much need for snow tires. Or maybe you could ask me 23 more questions and by the time I reach 25 I'll have no need to post in the for sale :)
 
stick around for a few days and you'll rack up 25 posts quickly...

yeah, just check out the threads and you will reply to them because the are good info. Before you know it, you will have 25+ posts
 
Look for the threads where you can answer questions. For example, the one about what your real name is. Plus, once you get 10 posts, you can post pictures of your ride in the color thread.
 
Most people here started out on the org. If I'm looking for something, I'll visit the org to see if people are selling what I need. And I've seen many members here posting over there. So I'm sure people have seen your add there too.

Try and get your 25 posts here, stick around, you might like this site more.

edit: there is no "Tanker" on the org. what is your other screen name?...makes for an even harder sell here, we can't verify your screen name.
 
Thanks guys, no problem. It would be nice (my wife would say "in a perfect world") if the sister forums could extend courtesy rule bending for members that have proven themselves in similar forums.
 
I guess if you read the recent ca18det thread on the org. you can see why the 25 post dealeo is in place. Good to have you here though!

Haha yeah, about 3 hours of school MWF, and 1.5 hours on TTH. I have lots of free time. :smile:

It will probably be harder to sell winter tires/wheels now as it warms up. Might be best to try again next fall before it gets cold again.
