They are different Stu. A y-pipe from a RWD Fx will not fit on a AWD fx. Check the org I believe they may old threads on this subject.
I will look. I assume it's a very small difference, because me and Keemo's y-pipes look identical in pictures. They are different Stu. A y-pipe from a RWD Fx will not fit on a AWD fx. Check the org I believe they may old threads on this subject.
Not identical, but will fit. Look at the picture I put up with the z y-pipe next to an HR y-pipe. That HR y looks almost exactly like my y, and I'm RWD.So let me get this straight. Assuming we're talking RWD only, the Y pipes from G35 coupes and Zs are identical to ours?
Are the comlete exhaust systems interchangeable?
I read in one of the other threads that there is an extension involved (1 for the G, 2 for the Z)... where is this located in the system?
God!!! my terrible English.... heatshield... not hitshield.... I'm only focusing on spell 'shield' not trying to make typo 'sheild'. Anyway.... Does it mean that I donot need the heatshield? As I heard, heatshield is welded to OEM y-pipe. Kakumei does not have heatshield? I'm curious about what heatshield exactly does.
Looks like the after market Y pipes dont have heat shields so you propably dont need them. I just installed some HFC's and am getting some rattling, got to check these heat shields now
So does a y pipe for a g35, g35x, g37, 350z,370z fit a 05 AWD FX35? some say yes and some say no.

I have the same problem, but by me is the problem the heatshield from the cats.
My dealer told me, i must remove the heatshield and the probelm is eliminated.
