FX owner for 1 week now

We have had our 2006 FX45 for little over a week now so I thought I would provide some feed back. First off, thanks to all on this site for answering my trivial questions. This site has been very helpfull in my decision to purchace a FX. I hope to contribute in the future. After having the desire for an FX since I test drove one about 7 months ago, I gotta say. DAMN! I get exited every time I go for a drive. I feel very lucky to have found my 2006 still on the Infiniti dealers lot, so I am the first owner & have the full warrenty starting the day I drove off the lot. The best of both worlds, new car warrenty with property taxes of a 3 year old car. That means something here in Kansas. Anyway, just cant express how much we are enjoying our FX. Still waiting on the lowering springs & spacers (keeping the stock 20" wheels, kinda like em) When I get enough posts, I will post some pictures

Three weeks with my FX and I have the mod-bug in the worst way. Here are my mods so far:

1. iSimple iPod install to factory Nav (installed)
2. FX in body shop getting some custom work done (repainting bumbers, filling in drilled license plate holes, painting flat black on front bumper and rear bumper, and doing something cool with the grill, painting M3 wing) picking up next week
3. Rotorpro rotors cross drilled and slotted, Posi Quiet break pads
4. H&R 20mm Spacers
5. Nismo S-Tune exhaust and Nismo license plate frame to match
6. 6000K Phillips HL bulbs and 6000K HID fog kit
7. 13% tint on front windows (complete)

I cant stop. Sorry for hijacking thread... I am very excited though!

Go Larry! I am keeping my stock wheels for awhile as well. With the H&R's and the 20mm spacers it looks pretty slick. I'll invest in Some GTSPEC braces and do wheels later. I traded out my Landcruiser and my Lexus for the FX and I am happy to say it was a great move, kind of a best of both worlds.

after looking at the pictures of all these great looking rides on this site, then looking at mine, I now know why I get nose bleeds! I'm embarressed to post.. I gotta get busy & get the ride height to a respectable level.

got some work done today, got my H&R springs installed. Thought I better post a picture of the car lowered to let every body know were not "Chevy ridin' high" any more! Took me a couple of weeks to do my first mod. gettin lazy I guess. I hope it will settle some more, took some before & after measurements (i'll get posted on the lowering thread) Front droped 1.6", the rear droped 1". My son help me, took us 6 hours cause we had to search for some little bitty ball bearings. For those that have done this, you know whar I'm talking about

Why does your 2 week car look so darn dirty underneath. Are you sure you were the first for her?
