SuperCharger for 09 FX35

gtm's got a nice twin turbo setup for the HR motor, looking at it myself. the HR motor is strong, you can easily take it up to & over the limits of the rest of your drivetrain. don't know what the limits are of the 7 speed tranny though? many guys have damaged there 5 speed trannies & the general thought with them is stock there good for a bit over 400whp, 450 would be pushing it. built up they can do 600+. the 7 speed? only one way to find out:tongue: well, I guess you could research that at the g37 forum too, don't think theres much building of the 7 speeds yet though...

you'd have to get either a 350z kit or a g35 kit & mod it for the fx, but you'll have 90% of what you need out of the box. need to extend some pipework to the intercooler & stuff, shouldn't be too intense... I asked george from gtm, they haven't done a g35x yet to know for sure any clearance issues with the awd, but he said it should fit.... there using uprev cipher for flashing the stock ecu... this should be very doable on the new fx. if you got $$$$$ then send it to gtm...

the HR has been dyno'd to 600+ on the stock block, bone stock motor..., detuned to 400+ it'll be comfortable & not overworked at all. in the end your limits are everything else in the drivetrain...
 
I wish I had been able to get a fx50, that's one bad a-- ride! I'm working on a couple sponsorships for my FX, guess I'll have to see what happens.. I'm racing in the Bull Run this year so I'm hoping sponsors might be easier to get because of that..
 
that's a hard choice... the 50 is sick, but the 35 with a tt? & rwd? 35tt will beat the 50 no question, comes down to do you want the hassles, the warentee issues, the devirginizing...
