Ebay Version 2 LED Mirrors installed....

Finally got these in and installed. Pretty decent quality piece and fitment was B+. The plastic is alot thicker than the factory covers. Lighting output is not great from the front but acceptable from the other angles. I snapped as many pictures as I could to show how it looks. I will try to upload a video to show a walkaround of what the light output really looks like.

They look pretty good so far. Could these of been ordered to have the markers clear instead of smoked. I can see what look you were trying to accplish. Regardless it looks great.

Those look pretty good - in the pictures the color is matched well - how is the color in person?

hey dude...sorry i didn't get a chance to show the covers to you guys before i installed them...i couldnt wait any longer

the car is kinda dirty right now but it appears to be slightly brighter white than factory...i assume tho this is because white colors tend to fade over time, thus making the covers appear more "new" than my dulled factory paint...but its hard to tell unless you are really looking....the color separation via the black mirror mounts help to hide the slight difference as well...

Can you post a full pic of the FX with the mod.
also with the blinkers on
I added a little video of them in action. I will post a better picture as soon as I can.

how much you pay for them? and a link to Ebay of where you bought them. I really love those alot.

Yeah so how is the installed since on the listing it comes with the wire and harness

Total Price is 206 including shipping is not bad also

Show some picture on how you connected the turn signals.

Great job!!!

i like the john/turbocad mercedes conversion ones better IMO
i mentioned this on .org as well, but I am with you, the turbo MB ones are waaay better than these...but i think that these are the best compromise of cost, ease of installation, and quality.

it comes with all the wiring and inline fuses....i had to extend the wiring for the pass side in order to run it across the cabin to the relay panel....check this thread for more info:

I think it's time for a nice write up, especially on the wiring so that it'll be easy for everybody to do it..

Is it me or did it look like there was a gap in the lighting. Then it kinda looked like it faded, vs just shut off. Maybe its suppose to work that way. Paper can you elaborate. Thanks.

If i understand you correctly, you are referring to the fading of the light output as I moved from the rear of the car towards the front? If so, then the term "fade" is pretty accurate. The LED's all point/angle towards the rear/side, so as you move to the front, you can hardly see any of the light from the LED's due to their directional output. Additionally, the reflector housings that the LEDs sit in were engineered the best, thus the light does not reflect forward like the better mercedes ones do. Hope that helps.
