Fx body kits! Who seriously wants one?

I have a good friend of mines here in Vegas that I spoke with about FX Body Kits and we talked about the demand of FX owners that yern for some originality or extra style to their rides. The main concerns are:
1.That theres a lot of people that TALK like they want a kit but, never serious about putting money up for one when the time comes.
2. Some want to see what the kit will loook like before they front cash.
3. 15+ ownersare interest in the beginning and ends up being only 6 that gets one at the end of the order.
SO, I'd like to see WHO would be SERIOUSLY interested in getting one?
(As in putting your money where your mouth is)
I will be getting a new used car soon to have as a 2nd car/project and will be giving my 2004 FX35 up to the shop to do what they need to for fittings, moddings etc
(2-4weeks)
if we have at least 10-15+ SERIOUS OWNERS INTERESTED w/ CASH, It's ON like DONKEY KONG! Figure spending $1000-$2000 for the kit
I LOVE TO HEAR SOME FEED BACK FROM $eriou$ :iS: PLEASE. THANKS

I think most would like to see it and know what the exact cost would be. not everyone has Viet money, lol... and currently I think he is the only one here that can ball til he falls.

don't forget this one V.I.P Toyz Custom Widebody FX45 - InfinitiScene.com
(I don't think they sold one)

I'm as serious as anyone can be without seeing the kit first. Seriously, you can't expect people to commit without seeing a product that is mainly sold due to it's appearance. That's just my 2 cents.

Well, from what I've seen and most importantly, READ, it seems that MOST would like to see it 1st. DAH! That is expected.

Being that I'm one to pay attention to detail & giving the fact that I'm an artist, I will be working on some drawings in the next 30 days of some new ideas for a kit as well as reading some of the most negative & positive remarks to the already made kits today. I'm honest and necer had a problem telling someone their ride looks like crap or giving credit where credit is due.

Once final design is done and of course before hand I'll throw it out to you all for opinion (in drawing form).
True, not everyone have Viet's money. (what ever that may be) but that's the reason I threw this thread out is to get some feed back as to how many would be interested and ideas as to WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE ON A KIT FOR THEIR FX. IMAGINE IF IT COST ONLY $100 FOR THE ENTIRE KIT....WHAT WOULD YOU WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE?
KEEPING IN MIND THAT IT IS A LUXURY/SPORTS CROSSOVER VEHICLE. NOT A F'N SPACESHIP.:nerd:

All in all if most prove to not like the final or show interest, I'll gladly roll on this myself......Hell, it damn sure worked for Viet.:4tongue: in hopes to me complete for next SUMMER. Thanks again you guys for your responce.

Thanks for you honesty Frankiago

I see why. It looks unfinished. The rear is a bit much and doesn't go with the rest of the kit. A great looking kit must flow like Viet's. Be an entire widebody or Not be.

seen that one before I think, think that's the one that eliminated the qtr glasses, some middle eastern country....

I think a classy subtle urethane kit would sell way more volume than a wilder fiberglass kit, what kind of kit do you have in mind?

why are you considering this? is it because you want something for yourself that just isn't available? or, because you see potential in designing building & selling these kits? or both?

+1. I'd stick to rookie's front bumper and side (if he creates a mold) since I know the price and I already know what it looks like.. if anything

this front looks pretty nice

I was at JT Auto Styling yesterday, and I talked to Tony the owner. He is very interested to creaing and paying for molds of rookie's FX. He acctually had a Copy of the Rides magazine and new what I was talking about as soon as I mentioned it.

He already makes body kits for all sorts of cars as well as Lambo Doors.

These are example of what direction I was hoping the FX kit & skirt to take on. Still researching the rear look I'm looking for.

The bumper on the Z looks decent, but not the Scion. Rookie's front bumper is a good example. I agree that a kit needs to flow with the original lines of the car. Have you thought about a new grill? I think this grill is bad ass ///1207&page=3 If possible, please, please, please no fiberglass. I'm willing pay more for urethane or ABS plastic.
