Well I finally got a chance to lower my FX45.

First of all I wanted to thank my friend LEO from the my.is forum in helping me do this mod on my car.

At first I was not happy with the mod. The ride was very stiff and there was a loud clunking noise that I hated. I seriously thought that I had done something wrong and that I had rouined my ride... Nevertheless, I drove it for a couple of hours and now the ride is excellent.

Soft, Smooth and Handles better on the curbs. The overall look of my FX is aggressive and SICK..... (Got allot of compliments on the road)

Secondly, I also wanted to thank Alexus1 for his friendship and help in getting the EIBACH spring kit.

Also can’t leave our Will (psiclne) for stopping buy and bringing us some lunch.

Leo and I started the actual work around 11:30 am and finished around 9:00pm and by the time we finished the front springs we were dead tired.

Front springs took us 4 hours each and 1 hour for each rear springs.

Update.. Just noticed how low my ride is sitting.

I was at the Gym yesterday and parked next to a Stock M35...

Well you have to remember that the front coils are cut a 1/4in.

also Bert,

I dont think all Axis wheels (22) have the same offset.

I see you rim's lip doesnt stick out are far as the Ordens I have, so thats why you need spacers and I dont (even with a 285-35-22 tire)

Combine the springs with the GT Spec braces and I should be able to get ino all kinds of trouble LOL.
Guess a good radar detector would be next!

No cons will. Just preventative maintenance. Ha ha

I might just have to go with the Apollo coilovers in the future to really be able to play arround with the stance

As for the handeling, is great on the curves, especially with the GT rear bars. I imagine now that I will have more fun with my new 285's

9 hr install...wonder if its worth it to do myself or pay a shop...still debating. hey bert, any advice/suggestions for someone who might do this in the near future?

It's pretty straight forward but the service manual has directions on how to do it.
