My FX35.. Idle, cold and warm runs.. - CIPHER update

edit: At the bottom of the thread there's the APS ST exhaust videos & pictures. Will post 0-60 times soon..

Just have Stillen headers, CAI and motordyne spacer.. A good point of view how the FX will sound with stock exhaust and headers.. (crank up the volume. my camera sucks in recording audio. also I compressed the heck out of the video to upload it properly)

She's actually scared so much from that sound.. She actually jumps back in that first clip  Good thing is, she handles it pretty well except the sweaty hands and fingerprints on the door pull

I will be installing the APS single turbo exhaust modified to fit NA sometime next week. I guess THAT will be really loud

thats the fuzz buster
sound like mine... beltronic 850000000.2
r2 would be less annoying... and maybe he could jam the radar
raspberry.... only one man would dare give me raspberry
LONESTAR

It's hella cooler than my passport 850000000 "BRAP, BRAP, BRAP!!!"

sounds ill man...i cant wait to get some headers and an exhaust system in...

btw, why was there so much smoke coming outta the exhaust in the first clip?

cold start... condensation in the pipes burning off
just my guess

Yeap.. Also it runs a little lean when cold I guess. Might be the reason for black fumes as well.. The sound is incredibly deep when cold & at low rpms and it gets beautiful when it heats up. In the second video, it's cold when going uphill and warm on the way back. Thanks guys for all the compliments..

Dave.. I thought you were talking when mentioning R2! Ash says it right though.. It's Bel Rx65 running through warning cycles.

Sounds nice for the stock exhaust, Ege! You planning on getting a different exhaust once you install the APS turbo?

Turbo is gone, unfortunately.. :frown: It looked like I wouldn't stay here so I put it up for sale and it's sold about 1.5 - 2 weeks ago. Now that everything looks better, I'm getting into mods that I can sell easily if in fact I need to go back home.. I got an APS single turbo exhaust for like $400 shipped so will modify that to work with stock Y-pipe.. Later on, I might go for a custom Y as well... Have the pipes and everything..

haha, I was expecting some comments from you on my gf's "salak"
I was actually cracking up when I was watching, my brother heard me and came over, than we both watched it...and cracked up. Plus she kept asking you "kapatim'mi ?" as if she had enough .

She's too nice, she could've said somehing like 'anasini ....... salagi' lol. It was a nice treat for me, thanks .

Ok, here's the media for the APS single turbo exhaust modified (extended) to fit my NA FX. The sound is much deeper and at WOT it's a little louder but overall a much better sound. It resembles Nismo sometimes but it's a different tone I guess..

The install Pictures are below:

Modified APS Y-Pipe:

This piece mounts up to the Kakumei I have now. Normally it's about 3.5" in D to mount APS down pipe. The extension reduces this to 3.0" to mount Kakumei properly.

APS Y compared to Magnaflow Y I planned to use. Due to magnaflow's angles, I couldn't use that:

Tips: (Left tip is a bit misaligned. Gonna get that corrected when I'm getting Berk HFCs installed)

And Finally the welding job. Thanks a lot to Scott @ Ballistic Motorsports in NH. If you need a good shop in New England, he's the guy:
