why are they swerving back and forth sometimes driving on the other side of the road onto oncoming traffic?

I was the guy that did lots of fast and furious type illegal street racing but with American muscle cars mostly. I've been to plenty around Chicago, china town, etc, but the Detroit ones are 1000% more crazy and fun. Could talk for 30 minutes telling exciting crazy stories of the events, races, cars, bikes, girls, cops, etc. Some of the best adrenalin rushes in my lifetime. First rule in keeping safe around some of those areas was driving through red lights instead of stopping for them.

I guess I never did hang out with guys that prefer swerving back and forth together in their $2k car with $10k rims.

O_o... Lol, it's about preference really. Everyone is different. If they could afford an FX, they'd do the same thing. Same goes for import freaks who have motors 5X the price of their Civics/Maximas.
