'94 volvo 940 turbo for a year, '00 tahoe for a year, then the FX coming up on the 1 year anniversary. First two cars were parents first. FX I atleast got to pick but it was someone elses for a year first.

What did you drive before you bough the FX *pic thread*

Just curious as to what everyone else has owned.

I had many but here are a few...

06 Titan (used to haul supplies and rebuild my house after Ike then sold, mildly modded it just for fun JBA catback, Nismo CAI, DDM HIDS - headlights and fogs, TBS)


01 Prelude (had 2 BB6-8 Ludes including one turbo)


Z4 (HREs are the only mod)


00 M coupe (before the euro front side markers lol - lots of mods...well not a lot really they just cost an arm and a leg - Hamann front spoiler and Hamann CF prespoilers, Hamann replica rear diffuser, B&B TriFlo, UUC SSK, UUC RKIII, 19" IForged Aeros, had a lot more mods in the garage next to the car which floated away)


636 (minor mods)

Ha Ha yeah I have a problem I cant leave anything alone...I told my neigbor I wasnt gonna do anything to the FX, Now he busts my balls everyday for how it looks now.

I tell him me tellin you I wont mod my cars is like someone addicted to crack sayin the wont smoke anymore.

One of my more memorable vehicles, interestingly enough the guy who designed this particular vehicle (and the Axiom) later went on to work for Infiniti, designing the FX ... 99 Isuzu VehiCross

Ah yeah Lance you bet, I really do wish I had it. I have a couple friends that own a few of them still, and I envy them. I used to run it on the strip on the weekends and it was my daily driver. Held the record in my class for a couple of years. Fun car.

97 Pathfinder with a lot of mods: Stillen CAI, headers, cat back exhaust, PIAA super white bulbs, 17" Niche wheels (my winter wheels are on in this picture), Katzkin charcoal/red leather, Hollandia sunroof, Boston Acoustics/Phoenix Gold/Sony stereo system, WAAG brush guard, Koni sport shocks (rear).

I don't have a summer time shot handy. This pic was taken a couple days after I took delivery of the FX and just before I sold the Pathfinder. It was a good vehicle. Wish it had more HP and a stiffer suspension though. The FX was the perfect replacement...everything I wanted that Pathfinder to be.

LOL...I suppose, but it went to a good home. My brother-in-law bought it and kept it in the family for another 3 years. He sold it last summer. I saw iton the highway this summer but got caught behind traffic and could't catch up to see who the new owner was. It was being driven aggressively, like how used to, so that's good.

So many cool cars already posted, I envy you guys with your late model hotrods. I'm almost ashamed to post my old rides. I sold our 99 suburban to get the FX. The others were still hanging on to. 68 chevy short bed, 59 Ford ranchwagon, 51 GMC

You have some awesome looking rides there. Did you do all the restoration work yourself?
