HONG KONG – INFINITI will present VC-T (Variable Compression-Turbocharged), the world's first production-ready variable compression ratio engine and one of the most advanced internal combustion engines ever created, on September 29 at the 2016 Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l'Automobile).

More than 20 years in development, INFINITI's new four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline VC-T engine represents a major breakthrough in internal-combustion powertrain technology.

"VC-T technology is a step change for INFINITI," said Roland Krueger, president of INFINITI Motor Company. "It is a revolutionary next-step in optimizing the efficiency of the internal combustion engine. This technological breakthrough delivers the power of a high-performance 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine with a high level of efficiency at the same time."

The new 2017 Infiniti QX30 is too straightforward for its complex situation. It’s an Infiniti and a Mercedes, a hatchback and a crossover. There are three different options with only a few inches of ride height between them. It’s aimed at a younger buyer who wants luxury things at affordable prices, and has considered having a life beyond the city on the weekends, but has never committed to actually doing it.

At least, that’s the theory. In practice, Infiniti is delivering exactly what upwardly mobile Millennials—and other people—are buying in droves right now,
and there’s no reason it shouldn’t work.

You may recognize the QX30, and that’s probably because we drove the European Q30 hatchback version of it back in November. Back then, America was to get the Q30...

Infiniti enters the 2017 model year with an expanded model lineup – anchored by the late summer U.S. arrivals of the all-new Infiniti QX30 premium active crossover and the return of the iconic Infiniti Q60 sports coupe. The new models signal the next phase of the brand's global growth strategy and come at a time when Infiniti continues to set sales records around the word.

The QX30, offered in a range of four two-wheel and two four-wheel configurations, is created for a new generation of premium buyers who appreciate category-defying design inside and out. The QX30's highly sculpted exterior, unique crossover stance and asymmetric cabin design exemplify Infiniti's design-lead approach to product development.

The all-new Infiniti Q60, a style leader since its original inception, offers a compelling combination of daring design and exhilarating performance and dynamics. The third-generation of Infiniti's renowned sports coupe is offered in a range...
