wheels question

hello, almost found a fx that i would like to get.
its pearl white and would like to get some rims sooner than i planned to.
I was first looking at asantis but my good friend, a tuning shop manager, told me that they are overpriced and they are made out of cheap stuff.
he told me to look "vellano" wheels, but could not find any pictures or specs of them.
Could anyone here who has them or seen them post some pictures and specs so i can make up my mind on these?! Thanks:tongue:

There are many Vellano wheel styels and models. Not all of them fit the FX specs. You will need to do some online research to find the style you prefer and specs. You can start here at vellano's site.

what are the specs and info that i need to research my future wheels on?
I want it to be around 20~22" but with drop springs and no rubbing and stuff.
So i believe i need to look at offsets really? right? could any experts elaborate on this? thanks in advance.:rolleyes:
 
If I'm not mistaking the wheels need to be 114.3 x 5 But thats going to depend on a lot of things.
1. How much you want to lower you FX vs tire series vs wheel with (8",9".9.5" or 10")
2. What you what you wheels weight to be with one piece or multi piece
3. The sales person in which you're purchasing the wheels from ,I would hope be very skilled and knowledgeable in that area to assist you with all this and some.
4. Stop by a shop who has the wheelss you want and have them set the wheels in front on you stocks to get a feel for what they would look like on you ride.

just wondering, does anyone else think those vellano rims look alot like other rims? i'd say i feel like i've seen the majority of those rims before, but never heard of vellano.

ya, i also thought they kinda looked like Jeff's old rims. there were some other wheels on there that looked just like those wheels that were on sale at tire rack
