Weird noise

I have a weird noise coming from the front driver side by the dash, when i first start my FX, i drive away and right after i hit 2nd gear i get this noise that sounds like ABS is kicking on. It only does it once until i shut the FX off and drive it again. Sometimes its louder then others but its still not very loud and sound exactly like ABS brakes.. just not as loud..I was thinking it was maybe the brakes preloading or something..i really have no clue. Any help is appreciated!!

i had this same concern. it has nothing to do with what gear you are in though. that is what i thought as well. it is the ABS system testing your brakes or something along those lines. it happens at 15mph, regardless of gear, every time you start your vehicle. no need to worry though as it is perfectly normal.
 
I heard it was at 10 mph, and I think it will sometimes do it after you go below 10 mph, but I'm not certain.
 
It's the ABS system test. Nothing to worry about. If that test fail, then you will get VDC and SLIP lights up at the same time.
