Anyone use the ramps from Walmart to work under your car? I am kind of nervous about using ramps. Working under cars makes me a bit nervous ever since my ford escort fell on me 7 years ago (thankfully I was only under the front bumper and was able to get out with a minor bruise across my chest for a week) I will never ever get under a car again without jackstands....lesson learned.... But with the ramps, I guess that is all you need, no jackstands necessary. Just looking at how they are plastic makes me nervous.

I have some ramps. I think theyre made by Rhino. 10000 lb capacity.
I hate using them altogether, but will if I have to. My friend across the street from my office has a lift . . much better.

I would be a lil nervous if they were made out of plastic too - I'd get a set of jack stands.

I do have jackstands also, probably will place one under the car for backup safety when on the ramps.

Yes they are built in. I could probably change the oil without the ramps but nicer having some space for me to crawl around and survey the area while down there.

But seriously, I got the ramps from pep boys. They have a warning about tire width but I've been ignoring that for sometime now.
