Questions:
1) Will driving in dry conditions with VDC off increase MPG and or cause any issues?
2) Snow button--Any issues when driving on mixed dry and snow conditions?
3) Snow button--With AWD does the FX do OK in the snow without the snow button?
4) Snow button--Does this change the front rear bias and if so to what speed --vs /with the snow function off?:glasses:

It shouldn't increase mpg but you might lose control easier than with VDC even on dry.

2) Snow button--Any issues when driving on mixed dry and snow conditions?
I'm not sure if the snow button will work if VDC is off.

snow traction depends a LOT on tires. Stock tires suck, all seasons are fine as long as you're careful and snow tires will be significantly better. Turn the snow button on though and you can climb steep hills with snow tires, all seasons will be much better and stock tires will still suck

It distributes torque equally between front and rear until 40 mph. Without snow button, I believe it's 25:75 front-rear from stop and gives full torque to rears after 20 mph. Not 100% sure on the second part

Thanks-So driving on mixed dry and snow will be ok with snow botton on?
and the VDC off button is only if you get stuck?

I wouldn't turn VDC off in anything except if you want to slide your tail (under control) in dry. Snow button + VDC is best for snow. If you don't want to use the snow button (going faster than 40 mph), use VDC only. Plus, as I said, snow traction depends a lot on tires. Your Hankooks should be fine for snow with/without VDC. Just drive carefully.

You're not going to go anywhere fast w/ the snow button on. Lol

what is the difference between VDC and TCSif there is any? Are they just different acronyms meaning the same thing?

with SNOW button on, will you get better overall Mpg? just for the regular commute.... going to test this this tank, but was stuck in some crazy "fire" traffic today:frown:

all 'snow' does is kill power & make for some very unpredictable acceleration. Dont use it while getting onto the on-ramp

the snow button locks the front and back to 50/50 power and also reduces power upto a certain speed and yes the FX does fine without the snow button.

if you get stuck in snow the best way to get out is to turn on the "snow" mode and VDC OFF and punch the gas and it will power itself out:wink:
