Summer Mod's Help

Hey guys I plan on adding a bunch of mods to the FX this summer and was wondering if my list sounded good or if I should look at different brands, different parts, etc. :smile: This is what Im looking at putting on this summer:

Nismo exhaust
H&R Sport Springs (I hear Eibach can be a little stiff but handles better)
Stillen Strut Tower Brace
Stillen hi-flow intake with z-tube package (I think, maybe LMS)

I wanna do a new grill of some type but need ideas...maybe coat it black...mesh perhaps...so many things do to :tongue:

I actually like the NRG STB more than the Stillen one.
You should check the NRG out

hey phantom what size lip do you got on those wheels? does it sit flush with the fenders, im in love with them haha, thinkin about getting those for my ride

Its the standard lip for the 22's...I can measure it if you want....It sits fairly flush with it, could use a spacer, maybe 5mm...the company I got them from said I needed a spacer for it to be flush, just never put it on :tongue:

ye eh, well standard lip is maybe what klike 2.5 inches? so it doesnt sit flush even with those massive tires, you have 285's right? noneless your fx looks great man

Yup, 2.5 inches and I have 265's.....might not still completely flush but still looks great, I get a lot of compliments on em...thanks :biggrin:


EDIT: Thanks guys!! I'm guessing that list I posted looks legit with the addition of the NRG bar since there hasn't been much feedback :smile:

thanks man, ya i think 285s might be too big all round? but that list you have seems good, wait for others to chime in they might tell you likewise?
 
How can someone go about getting a NRG STB? When you guys were on the GB I told myself that I didn't need one since I already have a stb. But the more I see the NRG and then pop my hood and see the flimsy looking Stillen I question myself about not getting on the GB. :squigglemouth: Maybe another GB???
 
I dont really know wats the difference in quality between the NRG or the stillen, but the stillen strut bar is on sale right now.... check it out!
 
They both do the same thing. If it's on sale, I would get it. Although it is on the skinny side for the haters, It is a very nicely machined piece overall, & gets the job done.

Do I need to buy a rear sway bar when I lower it??! Where do I buy one? :biggrin:

EDIT: Will I have a problem with it when I put on the nismo exhaust?
