Some freak was watching me get in the car so I backed out of the parking space (next to the concrete pillar, of course) w/o straightening out the wheels from turning into the space originally, as I wanted to split fast.

no i was just wonderin lool no hard feelings but yea for me i always straighten my wheels out whenever i park never ever have my wheels crooked its like a fetish lool also got a parking fetish

Let me see a door plus the painting, plus a mirror. I saw a doors on eBay. If I stumble a cross it again I'll post the link. I know turbocad can give you a good number on how much it's might cost you.

a flawless job including a brand new complete shell, blending the fender & rear door, dropping the front bumper & R&I the left headlight, fender molding & all the rear door trim for paint, etc, perfect job I'm coming up with a total of $1741.39. if the door was just skinned instead of replaced that would bring it down buy approx $350 or so...

just repairing the door & blending the fender, again with al trim removal for undetectable puts you at just a bit over $900...

a cheaper shop that's not going to remove all the trim might be as low as %600-$650 to repair this...

in the end you get what you pay for... fixing this for $650 is not going to be the same as fixing this for $1,700... unfortunately most insurance companies don't love your car that much & will probably come in somewhere in the middle...

You live in Cali.. land of Junk Yards, maybe find a replacement door in your color at a local junk yard?

that would be ideal, but fx's in scrap yards are very hard to find.... maybe now that the prices are dropping more & more they'll start to become more available, but FX's are tough to find... I've been looking for an interior for a year now...

Stop by Auto Explosion in Gardena. They know the FX pretty well. They take mine apart all the time. hahah

I agree with Rookie..

Worth the drive and it will be done right...

I had something simillar happen to me but it was me VS a Mustang Rouge...

I had the upper hand and then he wanted to pass me and clipped my rear driver side passenger door.

cost me $1,600.00 (New Shell, new rear wheel well molding... etc). It was worth the money to do this so my baby will look perfect...

For the record that guy did not know how to drive that Mustang...... He apologized and we just left it at that... it was fun to kick his ass though..

(I do not encourage reckless driving on the roads)

No, it makes sense. It's the door on the driver's side of the car, but for the passenger. Would be alot easier to just say back left, but whatever.
